Explanation:

The x intercept is whenever y equals 0, so if you plug in a 0 for y we need something to make the equation true. That would be a 4 for x because -3 times 4 is a -12, which plus 12 is 0. That makes the problem true for the x intercept. Now for the y intercept x is 0. -3 times 0 is 0, therefore we are left with 12. 12=12, so y would be 12. I hope this helps :)
