Answer:

Carol bought 3.8 pounds of meat.

Explanation:

1 pork chop = 0.35 pounds.

4 pork chops x 0.35 pounds = 1.4 pounds.

1 steak = 0.8 pounds.

3 steaks x 0.8 pounds = 2.4 pounds.

2.4 pounds of steak + 1.4 pounds of pork chops = 3.8 pounds of meat.

Now that's a lot of meat.
