A bookstore sells textbooks for $40 each and notebooks for $2 each. The bookstore would like to sell

$440 in merchandise by the end of the week.
Graph the linear equation 40t + 2n = 440, where t is the number of textbooks sold, and n is the number
of notebooks sold.

Make your notebooks your y value and textbooks your x value. Then you can graph 40X + 2y = 440 or simplify and graph y = -20X +220
