The answer is D) all organisms.
Both plants and animals use cellular respiration although it is commonly known that plants use photosynthesis and animals use cellular respiration. Animals don’t have photosynthesis but they do have cellular respiration. Plants have both. Plants cannot live without cellular respiration. Plants use photosynthesis to use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide and make them into oxygen and sugar (glucose) Then cellular respiration happens in the mitochondria, where oxygen and sugar transforms into useable energy for the cell. So without cellular respiration, photosynthesis is useless for plants. They need both.
