Answer:

15/80 = x/1600

multiply both sides of this equation by 1600 to get:

1600 * 15/80 = 1600 * x/1600

80 goes into 1600 20 times.

1600 goes into 1600 1 time.

equation becomes:

20 * 15 = x

solve for x to get x = 300.

300 students will most likely buy a tamale based on the survey
