Answer:

0.0097 atm

Step-by-step explanation:

From the question;

Temperature, T = 22°C, but K = °C + 273.15, thus

= 295.15 K

Volume = 0.25 m³ but 1000 m³ = 1 L, Thus

= 250 L

Number of moles of He = 0.1 mole

We are required to calculate the pressure of the gas.

Using the ideal gas equation;

PV = nRT

But, R = 0.082057L.atm/mol.K

Rearranging the equation;

P = nRT ÷ V

= (0.1 mol × 0.082057 × 295.15 K) ÷ 250 L

= 0.00969 atm

= 0.0097 atm

Therefore, the pressure inside the balloon is 0.0097 atm.
