Answer:

The value of y in the equation
(x)/(0.5)+(y)/(0.2)=18 is 0.36

Solution:

The given equation is
(x)/(0.5)+(y)/(0.2)=18

As the equation has two values so this will be a straight line on the graph,

Y intercept of the line is the value of y when x =0

So here to find the value of y we will keep x =0,

We get,

\Rightarrow (0)/(0.5) + (y)/(0.2) = 18

\Rightarrow 0+(y)/(0.2) = 18

\Rightarrow (y)/(0.2) = 18

\Rightarrow y = 1.8*0.2 = 0.36

The value of y =0.36
