In the store, I bought 3 pairs of socks, one deodorant and 5 granola bars. One pair of socks was $3.40, one deodorant was $2.25 and each granola bar costs $0.80. How much did I spend at the store ?

Answer:

$21.45

Explanation:

1. Multiply 3(socks) x 3.40= (10.20)

2. 1 (deodorant) x 2.25 =(2.25)

3. 5 (granola) x 0.80 = (9.00)

Add those together and you'll get $21.45

Answer:

16.45

Explanation:

3 x 3.4=10.2

10.2 + 2.25= 12.45.

12.45 + (.8 x 5) = 16.45
