Some of Switzerlands most famous foods are Melted cheese with bread cubes. Some of their most famous sports they play in Switzerland is football, skiing, and ice hockey.

Switzerland provides taxis, buses, trains and more for transportation to get to point A to point B. As of 2021 the population in Switzerland is 8.703 million. That’s a reason why they provide so much transportation.

Switzerland is different in many ways. They have low capital costs, stable currency, strong power, moderate taxation, and a good economic political community. There are so many more reasons those are some well known ones. The culture in Switzerland in abut different also. Their culture is distinguished by its diversity. It has multiple languages, which includes German, French, Italian, and Romansh. That includes different dialects spoken in every region of Switzerland.

Switzerland and the USA have a complete different Political system. Switzerland is a direct democracy, i.e. even if Parliament or the Switzerland's federal legislature as it's called voted for something it only takes 50,000 votes to overturn a referendum.

Switzerland is very liberal but reserved. The Swiss people are slow to warm up to foreigners. Everything in Switzerland is extremely expensive but also very clean! You'll hardly ever see a Homeless person, they are usually taken care off by the Canton/City as a ward.

The food is a mixture of every culture around Switzerland, like italy, Germany, France and Austria. Typical Swiss Foods are of course Fondue (Switzerland produces over 450 different kinds of cheese), Raclette, Züri geschnetzeltes (veal in cream sauce) with Rösti ( hash browns), incidentally the language divider between the Swiss German part and French part called the Röstigraben (Graben = Trench, of course, there is no trench) and cities along there are bi-lingual including street signs.

Switzerland has 4 official languages, German 60%, French 27%, Italian 8.4 and Romansh 0.6%.

Switzerland has a wide variety of sports, like soccer, skiing and everything in between. Men are conscripted to the military (some women can volunteer lately) and have more guns per capita than the USA. Yet there are no mass shootings!!!

Transportation is expensive but new/clean and on-time! Most people speak at least 3 to 4 foreign languages plus the almost ubiquitous English (more inthe German part). The education system is completely different from the USA.

Although regulated on a Cantonal level they are very similar. Not everyone is going 12 years to school, as a matter of fact, children are only in the same class until grade 6, then depending on their grades, they get split into 4 to 7 different groups. The lowest go to 6-9 and into a 3 year apprenticeship. Same for the Real/Sekundar classes. Only if you are at the highest level you'll attend the Gymnasium that leads to a matura which is basically your entrance exam to the Universities. There are several tracks of Gymnasium. A is for old languages like Greek and Latin and prepares you to go to Med school or a Seminary. B is for new languages, C is Math and hard Sciences and E is for Economics that most pupils transfer via an entrance exam from Secondary school with top grades. If you are good at any kind of sport that doesn't give you the right to go to University. Sports play a much smaller role in the Swiss Educational system. Swiss Universities are practically free compared to the US. Only a few hundred CHF per semester. Undergrads are taught in German or the local Language, MS and PhD track are mostly taught in English.

The Swiss are extremely punctual and clean. It's almost sterile compared to the USA. It also has close to 30% of foreigners living or working in Switzerland due to the high standard of living and closeness to the borders to Germany, Austria, Italy and France.
