Divide 7 by 8 then multiply what you get by 100.

Answer:

Batting percentage can be determined by number of hits divided by total balls faced multiplied by 100. And batting percentage of Marin was 87.5%.

Solution:

Given that Marin was batting,

Number of balls hit by Marin = 7

Number of ball faced by Marin = 8

Need to find batting percentage.

\begin{array}{l}{\text { batting percentage }} =\frac{\text {number of balls hit by martin}}{\text {number of balls faced by martin}} * 100}\end{array}

On substituting given values in above formula we get

batting percentage = (7)/(8) * 100 = (700)/(8) = 87.5 %

Hence batting percentage can be determined by number of hits divided by total balls faced multiplied by 100. And batting percentage of Marin was 87.5%.
