Distance ( or displacement) = do + vot + 1/2 at^2 <=====sub in vo = -at

= 0 + -at t + 1/2 at^2

d = - 1/2 a t^2 since a = - 49 m/s^2 d = -1/2 ( -49)(1.5^2) = 55.125 m

vf = vo + at

0 = vo + (-49)t = 73.5 m/s = vo
