ANSWER:

The fractions after converting with same denominator are
(220)/(260) and (221)/(260)

SOLUTION:

We are given two different fractions, they are
(11)/(13) and {17}{20}

We need to convert both the fractions with same denominator.

So, for that we have to multiply both numerators and denominators of fractions with quotient of the (L.C.M of denominators) divided by the (denominator of that fraction)

Denominators are 13 and 20

Least common factor of 13 and 20 is 260. L.C.M is found out by multiplying 13 and 20 we get 260

For the fraction
(11)/(13) :

Quotient of 260 divided by 13 is
(260)/(13) = 20

So, multiply numerator and denominator of first fraction with 20 , we get

(11 * 20)/(13 * 20)=(220)/(260)

For
(17)/(20) :

quotient of 260 divided by 20 is
(260)/(20) = 13

So, multiply numerator and denominator of first fraction with 13 , we get

(17 * 13)/(20 * 13)=(221)/(260)

Now the fractions after converting with same denominator are
(220)/(260) and (221)/(260)
