on slavery in order to pass create the Constitution, a document which said it was

I think it shows how greedy and afraid of change these people were. The south had power and they wanted to keep it that way, so it was more of a justice for them. The North obviously benefited from slavery as well, so it seems the only winner during this time was the white man. There was no true justice at the time.
