How do some producers and consumers each rely on light form the sum

Answer:

The sun gives off sunlight which producers (such as grass) absorb during photosynthesis. The sunlight is used as energy (also called glucose). When the producer is eaten by a consumer (such as a mouse), the energy from the sun transfers over to the consumer, giving it the energy.
