The answer is: y - 8 = -3/7 ( x - 5)

[First of all, I took the same k12 Unit test!]

If you still wanna know how, the point slope formula is y - y1 = m ( x -x1)

Since we already know that the

slope = -3/7 and the point = (5,8)

all we need to do is substitute it into the equation.

That would make it y - 8 = -3/7 ( x - 5)

That's it. That's the answer!

Answer:

y-8=-3/7(x-5)

Explanation:

the equation goes like : y-y1=m(x-x1) now just input all of that stuff where it goes and you get your answer. m is slope btw
