Answer = 9

Simple: There are 6 Squares in total right? Triangles Represent 1/2 of a Square. So adding them up will give You 3 Whole Squares. 3 + 6 = 9.

A = hb/2

A = 3(6) / 2

A = 18/2

A = 9

Basically have to count the squares in the triangle the base is 6 squares long while the height is 3
