The Black death and the banking system were the two events which helped to move Europe from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The Black Death helped in bringing out people to question the present situation they were living with death surrounding them. The Banking System helped famous artists to get patrons like Medici family, who could spend their money in bringing new ideas and techniques n Florence.

The Columbian Exchange began when Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492, which started to the exchanging of plants, animals and other good from New World to Europe.

The exchange not only brought goods and animals but diseases too. Diseases include chickenpox, smallpox, measles, typhus, and malaria, which killed the majority of population Native Indians in New World.

The exchange of crops like maize and potato affected the Europeans by getting dependent on it.

After the arrival of the Spanish in the New World, the older civilization led to decline with its population. They started to exploit the Native Indians by forcing them to work for them as well as convert them into Christianity.

Johannes Gutenberg is known for his invention of the printing press.

Hernan Cortes was a Spanish conquistador who conquered Aztec.

Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492.
