Answer:

1/3 chances

Explanation:

Add all the numbers together.

8+7+6= 21

Now set up a ratio or a fraction of the number of white shirts over the total number of shirts. Simplify. You can also divide 1 by 3 to get a decimal answer.

7/21 = 1/3

1/3= 0.33333

If you want a decimal feel free to divide 1 by 3 to get a decimal. I would prefer to use the fraction/ratio as the decimal will be a repeating decimal. Thus, 1/3 is your answer.

Answer:

7/21=1/3

Explanation:

In order to solve this we first have to calculate the total of the possible outcomes when withdrawing a tshirt from the drawer and we do that by adding all of the shirts:

8+6+7=21

And to calculate the probability of getting a white shirt from the drawer we divide the number of deisred outcomes by the total number of outcomes, since there are 7 white shirts, we divide that by 21, and reduce:

7/21

1/3

So there is 1/3 chance you get a white shirt when pulling a random shirt from the drawer.
