y = 4x, (Each x value will multiply by 4 to give y)

Explanation:

Notice the ordered pairs for the first few values.

(2, 8)

(4, 16)

(6, 24)

Every time the x value increases by 2, the y value increases by 8.

We can halve this to find, when x increases by 1, y increases by 4.

If you would like, try to find what the y value would be if x = 3.
