We can break this down by removing the parenthesis first:

-2 +
√(-8) + 5 -
√(-50)

In order to continue, you have to simplify the square roots by factoring it and taking out i:

-2 +
2i√(2) + 5 -
5i√(2)

Combine like terms:

-3 -
3i√(2) <-- that's the answer
