4x+9=-3x+2
1) rearrange the equation to have the x in one side and the numbers in the other side
4x+3x=2-9
2) add (4+3)x and subtract (2-9) to know the value of x
7x=-7
3) divide each side by 7 to have the value of 1 x
x=-1
