1. C. PROCESS OF ELIMINATION- is” is used to describe one person, not may persons. “am” is used when you are describing yourself. “be” is used to describe an action.

2. A. PROCESS OF ELIMINATION- “runs” is used when only one person is running. “was riding” is past tense. They ride together on Fridays after work, meaning they will do it in the future as well so this is not the answer. “rides” is also past tense.
