What is the solution to -8 =-(x +4)​

Answer: 4

Explanation:

because to get rid of the 4 you have to cancel it out w/ the opposite # on both sides meaning 4 - 4 = 0 while -8 - 4 = 4 and since there's a negitive sign you hav -x which means you have to divide it by -1 on both sides which gives you 4

x=4. divide both sides by -1 to get 8=x+4, then subtract 4 from both sides.
