- I woke up to the sounds of shrill screams and tires screeching against pavement. Blinking open my eyes, I quickly examined my surroundings. There was a loud crash as a car in front of us flipped over, bright orange flames covering the vehicle as dark grey smoke drifted into the air lazily. I felt the car yank my head forwards, my head slamming against the seat in front of me. Then all I saw was black.
