E. 5 cm.

Explanation:

As the 2 figures are congruent then corresponding sides are congruent.

NP corresponds to UT = 5 cm.

So NP is 5cm long.

(If we rotate Figure 2 through 180 degrees anticlockwise we see that it fits exactly on to figure 1.)
