Further, when we add or subtract two rational number it is always a rational number. Example:


(4)/(64) +(25)/(4) = (4+25* 16)/(64) \\= (4+400)/(64) = (404)/(64) =(101)/(16)

which is also a rational number.

Thus, the sum of two rational numbers is always a rational number.
