A pen is mighter than a sword

The power of a pen is enormously larger than a sword. What a sharp edged sword cannot achieve, can be achieved by the help of the minute tip of a pen. It means the power of writings is much stronger than the power of hatred, war, and fighting. A war always ends in killings.

The pen is linked with writings. It helps a writer to put his thoughts on paper while a sword is a weapon used forcefully against someone. A sword can be wielded well only by a man who is physically strong. But words can flow from the pen of even a weak man. If he is a good writer, he can use the words to his desired impact. That’s why many great writers had inspired revolutions. For example, the French revolution was the result of the writings of great French writer like Rousseau. Writings can evoke different emotions as love, hatred, sympathy, etc. It is something that is to be regarded with awe and respect. Hence pen is mightier than the sword.

A pen helps a man to fulfil his dream while a sword is used to kill a man. A pen makes the future of writer, society, nation and the whole world. It stands for the might of the human intellect. While the sword stands for man’s physical power.
