L = 6w - 3
2L + 2w = 50
2(6w - 3) + 2w = 50
12w - 6 + 2w = 50
14w = 56
W = 4
———————-
L = 6w - 3
L = 6(4) - 3
L =21
The length is 21 units and the width is 4 units.
