Hi! I'm assuming the x/2 is a fraction in which case the answer is 54.

To find this you have to first add 8 to both sides of the equal sign (becuase the 8 is negative and to simplify you do the opposite of what the sign is, e.g. add a negative number to both sides or subtract a positive one), this gives you the equation x/2 = 27.

Then because x is divided by 2 in the fraction you multiply it and 27 by 2 to get 54.

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

x = 54

Explanation:

X/2-8=19

x/2 = 19 + 8

x/2 = 27

x = 27 * 2

x = 54
