[GT.03]A scientist studied the limb structures of three organisms and made their models as shown below.

Picture shows the limb of three organisms with similar limb bone structures. All three organisms share common characteristics, most particular in the bones and joints. The first figure has a hand, the second figure has a claw with talons, and the third figure has a hoof; they all have parts that must bend agreeably in order to function properly.

Which of these conclusions is most likely correct about the organisms studied by the scientist?

They hunt in a similar way.
They have similar habitats.
They evolved around the same time.
They evolved from the same ancestor.

Answer: They evolved from the same ancestor.

Step-by-step explanation:

This phenomenon is called Homologous organs. Different species which are closely related to each other tend to have relatable anatomical structures. This is because ,once upon a time, they belonged to a common ancestor from whom they diverged.

Food habits, competition , survival of the fittest- all these factors required each of these new species to develop their common organ in their own special way. This would make their survival easier. Thus, talons , claws , hooves are not as distantly related as they seem.
