The newspaper industry has seen a rapid growth as the public school attendance was growing. The reason for this is very simple, the more people were visiting school, the more people were able to read, and the more people were able to read, the more people were able to understand the newspapers. Initially, the newspapers didn't had big sales, as the majority of the people were educated, with the man usually having very low education or none at all, and the women having no education at all. The times were changing though, and the government started to motivate everyone to visit schools in order to be educated, as that was seen as something that would help the country progress and develop further. As the people started to massively get educated, a much larger clientele for the newspapers emerged, which resulted in the rapid growth of this industry.
