The answer is most likely true because when you’re in a hot environment you should be drinking water. Pop and other stuff wouldn’t be good for that.

Answer:

The correct answer is- True

Step-by-step explanation:

Drinks with high level of sugar or carbohydrate cause the loss of water and can cause dehydration in hot environments because as the sugar content in the blood increase our body starts making more urine to get rid of the extra sugar content in the blood. So as more urine is produced more water will go out from the body which can cause dehydration in the body.

So drinks with high carbohydrate content inhibit the body to absorb the appropriate amount of water which is needed on a hot day and releases this water through urine results in dehydration. So the statement is true.
