when rounding to the nearest tenth, hundredth, or thousandth, the first digit after your decimal point will be your tenth place (0.1) your second digit after the decimal point will be your hundredth place (0.12) your third digit your thousandth place (0.123) and so on. i hope this helps your understanding! :) in this situation your answer is 576.54
