Is 4(3m + 4) = 2(6m + 8) a solution or no solution?

Answer: It is an infinite solution, so no solution.

Step by step explanation:
4(3m+4)=2(6m+8)
First you have to distribute the 4 to 3m and 4 which would give you
12m+16=2(6m+8)
Then you have to distribute the 2 to 6m and 8 which would then give you
12m+16=12m+16
That cannot be solved therefore it is a no solution(it can also be called an infinite solution because the same problem is on both sides of the equal sign)

Answer: both result in ( 12m + 16 ) so yes this is a solution
