Solution and Answer:
Since the question is asking to solve the length of each side of a square. Basically, it means that all 4 sides are the same length.
After trying to solve for quite a while I couldn't find a length for each side that would equal 124ft^2 as the area. The closest I got was:
11.1355 which the area would be 123.999
or
11.1356 which the area would be 124.002
