2x + 10 < 660 ....(2)

Subtract 10 both side,


2x + 10-10 < 660-10


2x< 650

Divide by 2 both side,


(2x)/(2)<(650)/(2)


x<325

i.e. The value of x is less than 325.

As, x > 225 and x < 325; Ashlynn needs to consume more than 225 grams of carbohydrates, but less than 325 grams of carbohydrates.
