Make 1 2/3 and improper fraction

1*3+2 = 5/3

5/3 +(-2/5)

5/3-2/5

Get a common denominator

5/3*5 & 2/5*3

25/15-10/15

15/15

Simplify

Answer= 1

Note:

A number on top of the same exact number equals 1 so 15/15=1

Answer:

1 2/3

Explanation:

Ok first find a common denominator between the fractions 15 seems good

Now convert it since we multiply 3 by 5 since we need to convert it to 15

so now we have 6/15 now we convert the other -6/15

1 6/15 + 6/15 = 1 12/15 simplified 1 2/3
