Explanation: Integral membrane proteins- they pass through the lipid bilayer and hang around on the exterior as well

Peripheral proteins- they hang around the exterior of the membrane.

Lipid anchored proteins- The also hang out on the exterior of the membrane but are covalently attached to the of the lipid group that is within the membrane
