Answer:

(24,14)

Explanation:

Midpoint is (18,15)

Endpoint is (12,16)

The slope of this line is;

Change in y ÷ change in x =
(15 -16)/(18 - 12) = (-1)/(6)

This means that endpoint (12,16) drops 1 unit along the y-axis and increases 6 units along the x-axis in order to get the midpoint (18,15)

So to get the other endpoint, we drop midpoint (18,15) by 1 unit along the y-axis and increase it 6 units along the x-axis to get (18 + 6 , 15 - 1) = (24,14)

Graphing these points gives:

Midpoint (18,15), endpoint (12,16) what is the other endpoint??-example-1
