Answer: Moral is to be more careful and lock up your home when you are not home

Explanation: The Fox cornered her in her home to make her fly up to the rafters to avoid him, if she had had some common sense she would have locked her home after she went out. Then he could not have snuck in to trap her.

She must be careful of other criminals besides the fox-like wolves, cougars, hawks, eagles, and man.

She was wise to put heavy stones in the bag as he was too eager and careless to check the bag to see if she was still in it.

I feel sorry for his wife, she paid for his betrayal with the boiling water from the pot, spraying all over her and him and burning them to death.

The Hen was smart and thought on her feet to save her own life
