Pythagoras property geometric theorem that the sum of the squares on the legs of a right triangle is equal to the square on the hypotenuse.

Example :

Pythagoras property or Pythagoras Theorem means the same.

It means that in a right angled triangle , the sum of two sides squared is equal to the square of hypotenuse (longest side).

This was proposed/discovered by Pythagoras in B.C period and is widely used in Trigonometric ratios and properties
