2 × opp = 11

√(3) ( divide both sides by 2 )

opp = 11
√(3)

Using right triangle on left

tan60° =
(opposite)/(adjacent)

note the adjacent side is the opposite side of the left triangle, so

tan60° =
(x)/(11√(3) ) =
√(3), thus

x = 11
√(3) ×
√(3) = 11 × 3 = 33
