How did the Black Death impact the church's influence in Europe? It contributed to the rapid spread of Christianity among non-Christian peoples in Europe. Among some believers, it stimulated hostility and resentment against the church.

The Black Death killed a little over 1/3 of the population then which killed off many people who were of the lower income who gave a lot to the church in donations and other things. However it did help because it killed off other churches as well and there officials
