We all know that in order to find a good mate, people tend to take physical appearance, personality, cultural values and social rules into consideration. In Biology, there are two different ways used in order to find a mate: random and nonrandom mating. When individuals use genotype and phenotypes to help on their mate selection, we call it nonrandom mating. However, when they make the choice randomly, we call it random mating.
