A translation moves A(2,3) onto A′(4,8). If B(4,6), what is the image of B under the same translation?

Translation is form of transformation in which all the points are moved in a direction by some units. In simple words, moving a figure without resizing, rotating or flipping is translation. The direction and distance between image and pre image remain same.

Now given is

A(2,3) as pre-image and A'(4,8) image

A has been moved 2 units to right (4-2=2) and 5 units up(8-3=5)

To find B'

moving B 2 units to right (4+2=6) and 5 units up(6+5=11)

B'(6,11) !
