Answer:

112.77 gallons of water

Explanation:

We will calculate the area by Trapezoid formula :

A=(a+b)/(2)* h* l

Given Base a = 12 inches = 1 feet

Base b = 3 inches = 0.25 feet

height = 8 inches = 0.67 feet

length = 36 feet = 36 feet

Area=(1+2.5)/(2)* 0.67* 36

= 0.625 × 0.67 × 36

= 15.075 cubic feet.

As we know 1 cubic feet = 7.48052 per liquid gallon

Therefore, 15.075 cubic feet = 15.075 × 7.48052

= 112.768839 ≈ 112.77 liquid gallon

When full it will hold 112.77 gallons of water
