Answer:

I, for the longest time, had no idea how to do this. But its actually pretty simple. You need to put it in y=mx+b form. (You just simplify and get "y" by itself). Once you do that its easy.

"m" is your slope (whatever you are multiplying x by)

"b" is your y intercept (how much you move the line up and down)

for example...

if your equation is y=3x-2, then your slope is 3, and your y intercept is -2.

Slope: 3/4, 1, infinity or undefined, 1/3

Y-Intercept: -6, 7, -3, 6

Explanation:

You change it into Y=MX+B form or slope intercept form where the M is the slope and the B is the Y-Intercept. For example, #2 becomes y=x+7 so M=1 and B=7.
