Medusa tempts Percy to stay with her as a statue. She warns him that he is simply a pawn of the gods. Does Percy seem like a pawn? Why or why not?

Yes Bc the whole time he was being framed by Luke (the son of the messenger of the gods) . He was by the most of the people at the camp to stop a war between the Greek gods. He was was used by Hades to get the lighting bolt, because hades held his mother hostage after she died for Percy.

Answer:

No, Percy does not seem like a pawn of the gods.

Step-by-step explanation:

Percy is a semi-god, son of Zeus with a mortal. He receives help from the gods Hermes, Hades and Athenas to defeat the gorgon Medusa. The decision to defeat Medusa is his own, not a consequence of any manipulation. He wants to win the tournament to honor the king and it's driven by his sense of bravery and adventure. That is why he is not a pawn of the gods because he had the freedom to undertake this task.
