  • Next step would be convert 4 feet to inches, so 4 x 12 = 48
  • You then substitute these values into the perimeter formula, so 216 = 2L + (48 x 2)
  • You then simply that to 216 = 2L + 96
  • Then subtract 96 from both sides to get 120 = 2L
  • And then divide both sides by two, and you'll get 60 = L
