Solution Set (-1,1)

x+y =0

x-y +2 =0

We need to solve these equations to find value of x and y

x+y =0 eq(1)

Add -2 on both sides

x-y = -2 eq(2)

Add equation 1 and 2

x+y = 0

x-y =-2

______

2x = -2

x = -2/2

x = -1

Now, put value of x = -1 in equation 1

x+y = 0

-1 +y =0

Adding +1 on both sides

-1+1+y = 0+1

y = 1

So value of x = -1 and value of y = 1
